D1: Day 1 Rovaniemi

: Itinerary
There are many ways to get out of the city and see auroras, but for the adventurous nothing compares to viewing them by snowmobile. Riding across the snow under the stars is a real thrill!

Departure: any time between 18:00 and 20:00
Duration: 3-4 hours

Northern Finland is full of marvelous places for watching the Northern Lights. There are many ways to get out of the city and see the Aurora, but nothing is more adventurous than chasing the Northern Lights with snowmobile. Riding across the snow under the stars is one of the most thrilling experience.

Your final destination is a fireplace on the magical frozen lake of the Arctic. Your guide will tell you tales and stories about the spectacular phenomenon, Northern lights, as you wait for them to appear above you. Serve yourself with Lappish pork sausages and steaming hot blueberry juice, as you relax with the sound of warm cracking fire.

You will ride the snowmobile in pairs (twin riding), a driver and a passenger on each snowmobile, with the opportunity to switch during the ride. Before the tour you can buy a solo driving option.

*A valid car driver's license is required for all drivers.
*Twin driving: two people share one snowmobile together and take turns driving
*Children under 4 year old are not recommended to attend this tour

Children under 3 years old are not recommended to attend this tour
At least 2 people are required for this tour to take place on weekdays and Saturdays.
At least 4 people are required for this tour to take place on Sundays and public holidays.
Twin driving means that the person has to share the snowmobile.
If the child is140 cm or taller, they can be seated on the snowmobile paying the adult's price
If the child is shorter than 140 cm, they must be seated in the sled pulled by the snowmobile, which is driven by our guide
Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time
Product may be cancelled or rescheduled if the group size is smaller than 2 persons
Drivers must have valid driving licenses and be at least 18 years old.
If the guest is late due to personal reasons, the guide will not wait for him/her and he/she shall go to the activity location by himself/herself or give up the trip (no refund)
